Events: Paris is still having hope to marry Juliet.Juliet is still very depressed about Tybalt and Romeo.Capulet believes that her grief for Tybalt is way too extreme so he changes his mind about waiting a few years before she is married and he believes that a good way to cheer her up is to marry a rich man. He proses the idea to Paris to marry her next week and Paris agrees.
